$$-$$$, Asian, Downtown

User Rating: *** 2.6

Fodor's Review:

One of the closest restaurants to the White House, this hopping venue is always buzzing with socialites, political junkies, and politicians. Chef Jeff Tunks's menu draws from many Asian cuisines -- Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, and Filipino. Main courses range from the chef's distinctive Chinese smoked lobster to tea-rubbed beef tenderloin. A pound cake served with Yuzu huckleberries and kaffir lime coconut sorbet is one creation from pastry chef Norman Messer.

just got served a burmese chicken satay that was burned beyond all belief either by or in front of the chef; the old manager no longer around so everything gone to hell. I think this place should be closed down.
