Westin Embassy Row

$$-$$$, Dupont Circle

User Rating: ** 1.6

Fodor's Review:

At this writing, the hotel is undergoing a major renovation but will not close during the process. The childhood home of Al Gore, this formal Westin has an English hunt-club theme. The intimate guest rooms are furnished with brocade draperies and reproduction antiques from late-1800s Washington. The Westin is near Dupont Circle, Georgetown, and the Kennedy Center.

What a dump

Review here totally misleading--booked the Ambassador Suite---tiny bath with a shower curtain! Furnishings were filthy. Staff polite but there are far better places to stay if you are doing corporate--even for their low price.
