Patrons don't seem to mind waiting their turn to eat in this affordable, 40-seat trattoria. Pasta Mia's southern Italian appetizers and entrées all cost around $10. Large bowls of steaming pasta are served with a generous layer of freshly grated Parmesan. Some best sellers are fusilli with broccoli and whole cloves of roasted garlic, rich spinach fettuccine, and penne arrabbiata (in a spicy marinara sauce with olives). Tiramisu, served in a teacup, is a civilized way to finish your meal.
