Fodor's Review:
From June to August, bands from the four armed services perform Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday evenings on the East Terrace of the Capitol. Other performances occur at 8 PM from June to August, on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Sunday nights at the Sylvan Theater (Washington Monument grounds, 14th St. and Constitution Ave., The Mall. 202/426-6841. Smithsonian). Concerts usually include marches, patriotic numbers, and some classical music. The Air Force celebrity series features popular artists such as Earl Klugh and Keiko Matsui on Sundays in February and March at DAR Constitutional Hall.
