Hot Tomato Café and Pizzeria

Fodor's Review:

This tiny storefront spot is big on flavor with thin-crust pizzas, oversize salads, and fat sandwiches. Run by mountain bikers Jen Zeuner and Anne Keller, who worked around town before taking over an established eatery, the place has an inviting small-town feel. They bake the bread themselves (try the homemade breadsticks slathered with molten cheese and marinara sauce for dipping), there's beer on tap, and they make a mean espresso. The Granny's Pesto Pie is the one to try: a base of pesto topped with mozzarella and feta cheese and plenty of garlic.
