Bars, Embarcadero
Fodor's Review:
A revolving platform with 360-degree views of the city makes this expensive restaurant-lounge, on the 22nd floor of the Hyatt Regency, rightfully popular with out-of-towners despite the blah hotel-restaurant decor. Some locals, however, decry the spotty service and mediocre cocktails. You might feel like a heel ordering just drinks, and you probably won't get prime real estate next to the windows if you're not eating. Still, it's the only revolving restaurant in the city, so if you're looking for some slightly corny fun, go for it. If you suffer from motion-sickness you might want to skip Equinox, since it seems to spin a bit faster than most revolving establishments.
