Cow Hollow Motor Inn and Suites

¢-$, The Marina

Fodor's Review:

Rooms at this large, family-owned modern motel are more spacious than average, with sitting-dining areas, dark-wood traditional furniture, and wallpaper with muted yellow, brown, and green patterns. Some rooms have views of the Golden Gate Bridge. The huge and lovely suites ($225-$275), overlooking the eclectic mix of shops, coffeehouses, and neighborhood businesses on Chestnut Street, have one or two bedrooms and baths. They resemble typical San Francisco apartments, with hardwood floors, Oriental rugs, antique furnishings, marble wood-burning fireplaces, big living rooms, and fully equipped kitchens. Covered parking is under the building.
