Fodor's Review:

The teddy bears in the reception area may seem a bit too precious, unlike the provincial decor of the rooms in this re-creation of a French country inn. Small rooms each have bright flowered wallpaper, an old-fashioned writing desk, and a much-needed armoire (there's little or no closet space). Many rooms have gas fireplaces, and the suite has a whirlpool tub. Afternoon tea, wine, and hors d'oeuvres are served in the lobby by the fire, and there's a full-breakfast buffet in the downstairs dining room.

Needs updating

Posted by Patrick from Texas on 1/12/06

The hotel was much less than expected. A former Four Sisters Inn property, this hotel is not consistent with the lovely Four Sisters' properties. It needs updating very badly. While reasonable priced for Nob Hill, the room was musty and drafty, and the bathroom smelled poorly and appeared to need a good cleaning.
