Sharing an alleylike block with the backs of Market Street restaurants, this tiny, cavelike (in a good way) find displays rotating artwork of the Mission School aesthetic on its brick walls. The clientele is well-behaved twenty- to thirtysomethings who enjoy the cramped quarters, good range of wines and prices, off-the-beaten path location, soft lighting, and hip music. If it's too crowded, CAV is just around the corner.
