Fodor's Review:
Near San Diego Bay, this snazzy hotel has many rooms with great views of the downtown skyline. Large rooms and suites in low-slung buildings were redone in a cheerful island-inspired fashion after a $9.7 million renovation in 2007. All accommodations have separate showers and tubs and come with plush robes. The resort is a short walk away from a $6 water taxi that'll take you right downtown.

Great Service

We stayed there from 2/1/07-2/04. The rooms were a bit outdated but very clean. We were told that all rooms were to be renovated by year end. Service was outstanding both at check in and throughout our visit. We had a nice view of the City skyline. Considering it is located on Coronado Island, a very good value and we will stay there again next visit
