Fodor's Review:
San Diegans are known to complain about the scarcity of decent, East Coast-type delicatessens. Well, this comfortable, no-frills establishment fits the bill. The vast menu extends to all the Jewish deli classics, including blintzes, chopped liver, smoked fish platters, skyscraping sandwiches, and baked beef brisket with potato pancakes. As a plus -- this is Del Mar, after all -- you can be served on a pleasant outdoor terrace.
