This two-story budget motel is safe, clean, and comfortable, close to the airport, yacht clubs, and Cabrillo National Monument -- and the popular and excellent Point Loma Seafoods is next door. A daily newspaper and continental breakfast are included.

Worst hotel ever

I'm a Fodor's fan specifically for the hotel recommendations but was totally misled on this one. The room was disgusting. There were bugs, stains on the ceiling, a filthy old bedspread, broken furniture and a missing security lock. I've stayed in much better "budget" hotels than this one and would NEVER recommend this.RATING: 1.2
What a difference a year makes!

I was here last year and the hotel was a little run down. This year upon returning I was greatly impressed with the new renovations. It is like a whole new hotel. Very comfortable, clean, and the staff is always friendly and professional. I would stay here again.RATING: 4.8
