$$$-$$$$, Downtown
Fodor's Review:
Dwarfing the many two-story Victorian homes in the area, this 22-story hotel has plenty of rooms with unobstructed views of San Diego Bay and the downtown skyline. The art deco-inspired rooms are ordinary, but most have balconies. Although the hotel is practically adjacent to a freeway off-ramp, the noise level is tolerable. The airport and the eateries and coffeehouses of Little Italy are nearby.
