Aircraft intended for display at the San Diego Air and Space Museum in Balboa Park are restored at Gillespie Field, a small general aviation airport in the East County. Recent projects have included restoration of a Convair F-102A Delta Dagger, which was first built at the Convair facility in San Diego.
