$-$$, El Cajon
Fodor's Review:
Established on 425 acres in 1955 as the Singing Hills Country Club, this is considered one of the most challenging championship golf facilities in the San Diego area. It was acquired in 2001 by the Sycuan Tribal Development Corp. and renamed in 2004, when hotel operations were joined with a tribe-operated casino nearby. Guest rooms are fairly basic, but have views of the mountains, the Dehesa Valley, and golf courses.
