Carlsbad Premium Outlets is the only upscale designer factory outlet in the San Diego area. Within this attractively landscaped complex you can find Wedgwood, Le Creuset, and Polo Ralph Lauren. Thousand Mile Outdoor Wear (760/804-1764) makes the bathing suits used by most lifeguards in Southern California and also has a line of outerwear manufactured from recycled soft-drink bottles. Barney's New York (760/929-9600) carries a large selection of designer women's and men's fashions. You can find home accessories at the Crate & Barrel Outlet (760/692-2100). Dooney & Bourke (760/476-1049) sells their popular handbags and accessories at discounted prices.
