¢-$, Thai, Pacific Beach
Fodor's Review:
This small, attractive Thai restaurant loads its tables with fat, full-bloom roses, and even scatters rose petals on most plates. On the eastern edge of Pacific Beach, and a few feet from Sushi Ota, Lanna serves a number of house specialties that are not found elsewhere, such as "talay Thai," a batter-fried fish fillet topped with a green apple salad, onions, and cashews, and spice-braised duck in a deep, dark, wonderfully fragrant red curry sauce. The kitchen possesses considerable talent, and servers are both prompt and gracious.
