Fodor's Review:
An old-school motor lodge surrounding a pool landscaped with palms and tropical flowers, this inn caters to a budget crowd in a tony area. It's the most economical choice on this half of the island. The big plus here is that it's a half-block from historic Hotel Del Coronado and one block from the beach. Continental breakfast is served daily and double-pane windows with plantation shutters in the rooms reduce the street noise.
