Fodor's Review:
Casbah, near the airport, is a small club with a national reputation for showcasing up-and-coming acts. Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, and Alanis Morissette all played the Casbah on their way to stardom. Within San Diego, it's widely recognized as the headquarters of the indie rock scene. You can hear every type of band here -- except those that sound like Top 40.
