A couple of CityPasses are worth looking into, but do the math in terms of what you plan to see and how much you'd save. For $49, the Hollywood CityPass lets you take the two-hour Starline Hollywood Tour and visit the Hollywood Entertainment Museum and the Kodak Theatre, home of the Oscars. The Hollywood pass is good for 30 days after the first use. The $199 Southern California CityPass lets you save on the area's main theme parks and attractions: Disneyland, Disney's California Adventure, Universal Studios, the San Diego Zoo, and SeaWorld. The Southern California pass is good for 14 days after its first use. You can buy passes online or at the participating locations. Added bonus: your CityPass booklet contains actual tickets, so you can avoid long lines.
