Fodor's Review:
In a true collision of artistic titans, celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck presents his take on steak house cuisine in a space designed by Getty Center architect Richard Meier. Its contemporary lines and cold surfaces recall little of the home comforts of this beloved culinary tradition. And like Meier's design, Puck's fare doesn't dwell much on the past, and a thoroughly modern crab Louis is the closest thing to nostalgia on the menu. Playful dishes like bone marrow flan take center stage before delving into genuine Japanese Kobe beef or a perfect dry-aged hunk of Nebraskan sirloin that proves the Austrian-born superchef understands our quintessentially American love affair. The buzz is sure to remain electric long after the opening.
