Fodor's Review:
A wide, sandy strip with good swimming and rows of volleyball courts, Manhattan Beach is the preferred destination of muscled, tanned young professionals and dedicated bikini-watchers. There are also a separate bike path, a playground, fishing equipment for rent, a bait shop, and a sizable fishing pier.
