Fodor's Review:
South of Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach has all the amenities of its neighbor -- down to the fishing tackle and bait shop -- but it attracts more of an MTV party crowd. Swimming takes a backseat to the volleyball games and parties on the pier and boardwalk.
