A handy midcity location ensures a steady stream of bookings here; the bustling lobby and café give a good first impression. Guest rooms are nothing to write home about, but they have all the necessary amenities, plus oak desks and floor-to-ceiling windows with good views. Rooms on the business floor are virtual offices with fax/copier/printers and two-line phones. Across the street from a Red Line station, the hotel gives you easy access to downtown and Hollywood. A limo rental service is available on-site. Authentic Japanese food and sushi can be found in Sake-E, off the lobby; Korean and Japanese breakfasts are available there, too.

Terrible location for tourists despite all mentions on the website of closeness to hollywood etc.
Sheets were too short for beds and had holes in them.
Concierge ignored requests and had little to no knowledge of the area, often didn't seem to understand english.
This was a disappointing end to our trip.

stayed here with my daughter for 3 nights. our room was decent, except for the burns in the blankets, wallpaper peeling off the wall, shower that didn't drain. the location is great... 20 minutes to Beverly Hills one way,20 minutes to downtown the other. the hotel was full so perhaps our room was an exception (I don't think so). I stayed at this hotel about 10 years ago and there doesn't seem to be any updating since.
