Century City

Fodor's Review:

A spralling 280-acres of office buildings, a shopping center, hotels, an entertainment complex, and housing, this complex was built in the 1960s on what used to be the backlot of Twentieth Century Fox. (The studio is not open to the public.) The focal point of this complex is a pair of silvery triangular towers known as Century City Towers (Ave. of the Stars and Constellation Blvd.). The Westfield Century City (10250 Santa Monica Blvd. 310/277-3898. www.westfield.com/centurycity) open-air shopping center has undergone a top-to-bottom makeover and offers the city's best food court and al fresco rooftop mall dining.
