Fodor's Review:
This charming 1895 B&B is in a quiet residential neighborhood of Craftsman bungalows, not far from the antiques shops of South Pasadena. Once a chicken farm, the Artists' Inn still retains a country air with more than 100 rosebushes in the garden, wicker furniture on the front porch, and home-cooked breakfasts and afternoon tea. Some rooms have fireplaces; all have themes relating to a particular period of art (like impressionism) or famous artist (Degas, Van Gogh, O'Keeffe). Close by is a Gold Line Metro stop for easy access to both Pasadena's cultural attractions and downtown L.A. Room rates include parking and Internet access.
