Theater, North Hollywood
Fodor's Review:
Founded in 1962, the nonprofit theater co-op Theatre West has produced a lauded body of work. Its plays have gone on to Broadway (Spoon River Anthology) and been made into films (A Bronx Tale), and stars like the late Carroll O'Connor and Richard Dreyfuss have acted with the company. Its interactive Storybook Theatre (for three- to nine-year-olds) is a long-running favorite.
