Fodor's Review:
Just when you thought it was passé, California cuisine has been reenergized in this spare but elegant dining room with a wraparound patio. Chef Quinn Hatfield turns out market-driven dishes like Arctic char in a leek froth, and date- and mint-crusted rack of lamb following a whimsical, not-to-be-missed California-style croque madame (hamachi and proscuitto sandwiched between buttery brioche toast, topped with a sunny-side-up quail egg). Later, wife Karen successfully pushes the envelope with creations like sea salt-spiked chocolate-caramel ganache with Belgian beer ice cream.
