$$-$$$, American, Venice
Fodor's Review:
With a menu that's more old-school American than those at its peers in now-trendy Venice, this coastal hot spot seems just right for a seaside lunch or supper, inside or out on the patio. The menu focuses on classics like meat loaf, chicken potpie, and fried chicken, but you can also find tuna tartare, ceviche, and halibut in shiitake mushroom vinaigrette. If you're so inclined, sip your dessert wine between shots at the billiard table in a bungalow behind the patio. It's open until 1 AM Thursday-Saturday.
