Massive, colorful murals -- a bit primeval -- are a perfect complement to modern interpretations of this busy restaurant's ancient Mayan dishes such as cochinita pibil (achiote-marinated pork). Other favorites include a wild-mushroom quesadilla, vinegar-and-pepper-grilled turkey, and daily ceviche specials. Celebrity chef-owners Mary Sue Milliken and Susan Feniger display a passion for Mexican cuisine here, but they do mellow the dishes to suit a broad audience.
