Fodor's Review:
On a residential street one block from the Third Street Promenade and within a short walk to the beach, this low-profile, two-story, all-suite hotel is a comparative bargain. In summer, though, a three-night minimum stay is required. Standard and master one-bedroom suites have king or twin beds and a full-size sofa bed. Furnishings are contemporary and comfortable without much thought given to decorating, but the atmosphere is friendly and informal. Rooms wrap around an interior courtyard with pool and windows open to the street or back alley, adding up to city sounds and noise both day and night.
