Fodor's Review:
There's more to this private university than mascot Tommy Trojan and the legendary marching band. Its parklike inner-city campus dates to 1880, its film school is George Lucas's alma mater, and it fosters a fanatical crosstown rivalry with UCLA. Free docent led campus tours are available weekdays as well as a self-guided tour map for potential students or film buffs who just want to walk in Lucas's footsteps.
