For the sake of pithiness, the California Institute for Abnormal Arts abbreviates its name to CIA. Its nuttiness (bands and multimedia events) is let loose Thursday-Saturday. It's been said that on "weekends it's a giant magnet for every loose screw in town." No alcohol is served.
