Glen Ellen Inn Restaurant

$$-$$$, American, Glen Ellen

User Rating: *** 3.4

Fodor's Review:

This creekside restaurant varies its menu regularly, with seasonally changing seafood and pasta dishes. Look for braised lamb shank with homemade pasta and seafood risotto. Desserts such as warm pumpkin bread pudding are large enough to share. For the best (and most romantic) tables, ask to be seated on the covered patio, which glows with fairy lights.

Just had dinner with my wife at our favorite new place in Sonoma wine country-the Glen Ellen Inn. We Loved the oysters, loved the Mahi-Mahi, Loved the dessert sampler! I will be back-with friends!

Are oysters supposed to be DRY??? Yuck.

Yeah, that says it all. Dry tasteless oysters, pretentious clientele, mediocre service. Take your chances, see for yourself. Or don't bother. Everyone else seems to love this place. We thought it was aweful.
