Café Terra Cotta

$-$$$, Southwestern, Foothills

User Rating: *** 3.3

Fodor's Review:

Everything about this restaurant says Southwest -- from the bright orange and purple walls, large windows, and exposed beams to the contemporary art -- but especially the food. Specialties include tortilla soup, maple-leaf duck in a drunken cherry sauce, and creative pizzas with toppings like grilled shrimp and chiles or goat cheese and artichokes. This is the ultimate casual and lively yet classy place to dine in town.

Food was below average for the price. Ordered the risotto and tasted like plastic. Did not have a reservation and was placed on the patio where we would catch an occasional sewer gas smell. Not impressed at all. Service was poor.
