Fodor's Review:
The self-guided trails of Hassayampa River Preserve wind through lush cottonwood-willow forests, mesquite trees, and around a 4-acre, spring-fed pond and marsh habitat. Waterfowl, herons, and Arizona's rarest raptors shelter here.

- Open: Mid-Sept.-mid-May, Wed.-Sun. 8-5; Summer hours vary depending on fire danger and weather. Call to check.
