Fodor's Review:
On the National Register of Historic Places, this remote guest ranch is personable and low-key. Some of the biggest mesquite trees in Arizona shade the lodge, a family cottage with private patio (built in 1914), two separate casitas, and a charming adobe cookhouse. In the evening everyone gathers in the living room by the stone fireplace for cocktails and homemade hors d'oeuvres.

- In-room: no phone, no TV.
- In-hotel: restaurant, pool.
- Rate includes: 3 meals
- Credit Cards: MC, V
- Closed: Closed May-mid-Oct.

My son loved this place!!

I have loved Kay El Bar since the first day I visited when I was 7. We have gone back every year for the last 5 years. I have made lots of friends. I love cantering in the washes and the good meals. I can't wait to go back next year.

Women's Week was a truly memorable experience. I met many interesting women, gained confidence on the trail, received excellent instruction and had a lot of laughs during the week.
