Reddish flagstone floors and sponge-painted walls, a wine cellar behind a wrought-iron door, modern oil paintings, and sconce lighting make La Rúa an intimate, and thoroughly Mediterranean place. Favorites from the Continental menu include charred rare tuna, loin of deer, seafood tagliolini, and rack of lamb.

Had an excellent meal in La Rua, with good service and lovely atmosphere. Tried to return another night but booked up and with good reason. Make sure you make a reservation if during peak season.

We dine here on each of our visits. The food, service and ambiance are all superb! One of the best in Whistler!
