$$-$$$, Modern Canadian, Yaletown
Fodor's Review:
With its wall of windows overlooking False Creek, this contemporary dining room boasts lovely water views. The name is French for "naked," but that doesn't refer to the patrons' attire (which runs from smart-casual to business suits) or the room's decor (chic Euro style, from the funky bucket seats to the gilded brass ceiling). Instead, it represents the restaurant's philosophy of letting good-quality ingredients shine. You could linger over a cocktail and light bites, perhaps cute mini-burgers or a goat-cheese soufflé, but don't overlook the far more innovative dishes, such as the luxurious seafood salad, the "all-night braised" pork belly paired with yam dumplings, and the caramelized lamb cheeks served with artichokes and saffron-scented couscous.
