$$$-$$$$, Seafood, East Side
Fodor's Review:
This long-established East Side favorite has striking views over the harbor and the mountains beyond. Tables are set with white linen and china, but the rustic nautical decor, including a retired fishing boat out front, indicates the specialty here. Most diners come for the seafood classics: bouillabaisse, Dungeness crab, Nova Scotia lobster, treats from the daily fresh sheet, or the signature salmon Wellington with pinot noir sauce. To get here, take Hastings Street east from downtown, and turn left onto Clark Drive. Cross the bridge into the port area, notify the guard that you're headed for the Cannery, and turn left (east) onto Commissioner.
