¢-$, Eclectic, St-Roch
Fodor's Review:
Spectacular breakfasts with mounds of fresh fruit are the specialty at this sunny chain restaurant. Whimsy is everywhere, from the plastic chicken decorations to the inventive dishes, often named after customers and family members who inspired them. Try the Eggs Ben et Dictine, which has smoked salmon, or the Gargantua -- two eggs, sausage, ham, pancakes, cretons (pâtés), and baked beans. Kids love the Banana Surprise, a banana wrapped in a pancake with chocolate or peanut butter and honey. The restaurant also serves light lunch fare, such as salads and sandwiches.
