Fodor's Review:
Black walls and twinkling lights makes Vauvert sound more like the setting for a Halloween movie or a Marilyn Manson concert than a place for a seriously romantic tête-à-tête, but somehow it all works. And if you do happen to find the décor a little gimmicky, the food more than makes up for it with chef Pascal Leblond's bold takes on such classics as filet mignon with caramelized onions, bacon, and fried potatoes doused in cheddar cheese and perfectly bronzed Guinea hen.
