$-$$, Steak, Pointe-St-Charles
Fodor's Review:
Everyone from dock workers to corporate executives comes to this tavern in a working-class neighborhood for the unbeatable roast beef and steaks. The salmon pie is a delightfully heavy filler that makes great picnic fare. In summer Magnan adds Québec lobster to its menu and turns its parking lot into an outdoor dining area. Excellent beer from several local microbreweries is on tap. The style is upscale warehouse, with TV sets noisily tuned to sports.
