Kam Fung is no place for a romantic tête-à-tête, but it's a great place to go with a gang of friends for a noisy dim sum feast. From 7 AM until 3 PM waiters clatter up and down the aisles between tables, pushing a parade of trolleys bearing such treats as firm dumplings stuffed with pork and chicken, stir-fried squid, barbecued chicken feet, and delicate shrimp-filled envelopes of pastry.

Terrible service!
Posted by irena_liu from Montreal on 1/27/08
After an enjoyable afternoon at a musical on January 13th 2008, my date and I went to Kam Fung for dinner. The food and atmoshpere were acceptable, but the service was atrocious! The waiters constantly ignored us, were very rude when they did actually provide 'minimal' service, and then had the gall to complain about the tip! I will never visit this restaurant again, and advise all visitors to this site to avoid this restaurant at all costs! All-in-all, the experience completely ruined what should have been an enjoyable date/evening.

Great Value, Great Food

I thought the food was very good. My mom and I had the aspharagus and crab soup, and the shrimp with vegetables. Both served very hot and tasted very fresh. Service was good and the value was excellent. Our dinner was less than $30 for the two of us.
