Squares, Quartier Latin
Fodor's Review:
The prosperous bourgeois families who built their comfortable homes around Square St-Louis's fountain and trees in the late 1870s would probably be dismayed to see the kind of people who congregate in their little park these days. It's difficult to walk through the place without dodging a skateboarder or a panhandler, or without being offered a sip of something from a bottle in a paper bag. But they're generally a friendly bunch, and the square is still worth a visit just to see the elegant Second Empire-style homes that surround it.
