Vieux-Montréal

Shopping Neighborhoods, Vieux-Montréal

Fodor's Review:

Like most touristy areas, the old part of the city has more than its fair share of garish souvenir shops, but shopping here can be worthwhile. Fashion boutiques and shoe stores with low to moderate prices line rues Notre-Dame and St-Jacques, from rue McGill to Place Jacques-Cartier. The area is also rich in art galleries and crafts shops, especially along rue St-Paul. During the warmer months, sidewalk cafés are everywhere, and so are street performers. Use the Place-d'Armes or Champ-de-Mars Métro station.
