Anna Leonowens Gallery

Museums / Galleries, Halifax

Fodor's Review:

The gallery is named for the Victorian woman who served as governess to the King of Siam, and whose memoirs served as inspiration for Rodgers and Hammerstein's The King and I. She also founded the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design. Three exhibition spaces serve as a showcase for the college faculty and students; the displays focus on contemporary studio and media art.
