The Harbourside Market

Fodor's Review:

This casual, market-inspired cluster of restaraunt boutiques is perfect for families, and probably the most economical place to eat dinner on the Halifax waterfront. Located in the back of Historic Properties, there are six restaurants to choose from -- kids can have pizza or burgers and there's seafood (including a full steamed lobster), deluxe wraps, or wonderful Greek dishes for the grown-ups. Seating is inside (with full windows overlooking neighboring Dartmouth) or outside. The Shipwreck Pub has beer on tap and wine, and to finish your meal, there are gourmet goodies from the on-site coffee shop or ice cream and gelato on the premises and nearby on the waterfront boardwalk.
