Isla Taboga

Aside from swimming and sunbathing, Taboga's outdoor options include snorkeling, hiking, fishing, or a boat trip around the island. Trails lead to the island's two highest points: Cerro de la Cruz, a hill south of town that is topped with a 20-foot cross, and Cerro Vigia, the mountain behind town. A wildlife refuge covers the western half of Isla Taboga and the nearby island of Urabá, which is the best dive spot in the area. One of the best parts of going to Isla Taboga is actually the trip itself, since the ferry passes dozens of massive ships and provides great views of the islands and the city.
