Gone Fishing Review

Though fishing is an option here, this is really a waterfront hotel that offers various activities. The name reflects the attitude of the owners, Bruce and Donna, who retired to Boca Chica from south Florida. Spacious, well-equipped rooms have private balconies and are decorated with themed murals. It's popular with families and has ample grounds, a large pool, and a lively common area open to the public. Bruce's boats are docked below for his next fishing trip, but he'll take you island hopping and can arrange scuba diving. Meals are served on a wide terrace with a view.

    Could be worse

The very nice View and the warm welcome of the manager was not enought to pay for bad service, dirty and poor food.
Could be acceptable for a low budget and backpackers or fisherman hotel but I would not go there again for that price
